Brighten up This Diwali with Diyas and Candles & Special Gifts
Light - the source of all. All that is Good, all that is Holy, and all that is Pure. Light, signifying a triumph over evil, a celebration of being. The light of knowledge, the light of wisdom and the light that pervades all - the light of the soul! Diwali also called Dipawali is a Festival that celebrates the triumph of Goodness over all that is not, through an offering of lights. The festival of lights - Deepawali!
Following closely after the five days festivities of Durga Puja, Deepawali recaptures the mood and recreates the vibes of happiness and fun once again. The nation breathes as one again, and celebrates as one. Every house, every street, every corner lights up, dispelling the faintest shadow of darkness. The country decks up like a bride, in her finery of colourful, vibrant lights. Lights of the illuminated candles and diyas, which are used to decorate homes, and the distinguishing factor of the festival of Deepawali - crackers! No sight could be more attractive than that of a Deepawali night, when exploding crackers light up the night sky in a flood of colours, and brightness, and life! The stars that deck up the firmament as an offering of the elements to the cosmos are reflected by the little diyas and lamps that line up every nook and corner of houses and streets. It is a festival celebrated by man and by Nature, together, in a symphony that pervails the spirit of the occasion.
Deepawali calls for beauty. It calls for togetherness. It stands for all that is good, pure and sacred. It is an occasion that elicits the hope of good in us, again, each year. Doubts clear, wounds heal, worries fade away. The lamps light up hearts, revive hopes, renew dreams. An aura of well being pervades all. And each year we cherish the all-encompassing feeling of goodness. Each year we pray that it does not end with the festival. That it stays. That it uplift us toward the light that so warms up the soul. And every year we give the festival our all. All our faith, all our beauty, All our labours to make it as bright, as happy as we would want each and every day to be, each and every life to be. And each and every year we come back with the same hope.
This Diwali, let us adorn our nation, our cities, our houses with the most valuable finery of all: Belief. To be good, and do good. Let us promise to spread the Light that God has created for us, our entertainment, our enlightenment, our Nirvana.

Durga Puja and Indian Culture! And Wishes from Florists
Durga puja means the Dhaak! Durga Puja means the kaash phool! It means the sun. It means the aimless white clouds in the sky. It means a lot more. To everyone, a different something. Yet!But to everybody, the same! Listening to the first chant of the shloka awaking the Goddess Mother in the early dawn of the Mahalaya is a experience that defies comparison. The feeling of new clothes on Sasthi, the pandal hopping with friends on Saptami, the early morning anjali on Ashtami, the feast on Nabami, and the sindur-khela on Dashami signifying a warm, touching parting of the Mother are the moments that make the year! It is about the mindless, thoughtless binging on junk food everyday from the local makeshift roadside shacks. It is about madness! It is about everything that forms fragments of a time that repeats itself every year, but is very much special to us.
And so Puja is a time for beauty. For Freshness and for a new start. It is a cascade of sights and sounds and smells and touches. It is a welcome that reaches the known and the unknown alike. The welcome of a Mother who manifests Herself in Nature, and in our being. We feel beautiful, and we feel like beautifying. Flower delivery from Flowers Shop and Trinkets and Decorations to make the homecoming of your beloved one to care for; Fragrances and Colors that lend your abode the warmth of your heart. And yes, nothing compares to the smile of happiness and gratitude that you get in return. We hope for a happy homecoming. We look forward to a very happy time this October with family, friends and loved ones.

Significance of The Wonderful Festival in India - Durga Puja. Enjoy the Festival with Sending Flower by Florists & Flower Shop
The season of the Durga Puja is a time that evades even the boundaries of wordsmithing. It is the essence of the mother who waits for days to bless her child and her family; the heart and soul of the daughter who wait for time to run into the arms of a mother who is distant; of a grandchild who yearns for the loving embrace of a grandmother, or the amusing, pampering-to-death grandfather. It is a period when every house becomes a home in the anticipation of the return of a loved one. Every corner of the home assures a coziness of a mother̢۪s lap. Every neglected vase comes out to burst in a splash of colours, arranged with Fragrant Fresh Flowers . The house beams with happiness, the floors shine with welcome, the doors are open even when they are not. And beauty flows in, drop by drop, into a soul, a mind, and a nation!
As the Durga Puja fervor sets on, so does the need to make each day a extraordinary one. The colours of the season find its way in the garbs of the people who reinvent themselves every day in all that is unique. Nobody, nowhere can probably match the craze of the Durga Puja Shopping which sweeps an entire population like a drift. Clothes and Shoes and Bags for us and all the Dear Ones, and Fresh Flower Delivery from Florists, or Flowers Shop and Fragrances and Furniture for our homes top the list. Nothing makes us feel better than the feel of a new fabric on the skin, and nothing transforms a house into a home more than a Bunch or two of Flowers - Fresh, Dried, or Artificial Flowers . A day of seemingly infinite pandal-hopping and senseless junk-eating is rounded off blissfully when you return to a home that unfolds the same feeling with a milder tone of warmth and shelter.
Flowers are a friend of feelings. The gentleness never betrays to soothe a nerve that̢۪s thrilled with ecstasy or bent over with torment. And the Puja is the time for nothing but pure, untainted joy. So here we welcome Maa Durga with delighted heart, peaceful mind, and a Bouquet of Colors and Fragrances in our hands - an Offering of Love to the One we Worship!
Happy Durga Puja!

Happy Independence Day!
To India, with Love
I vow to thee, my country—all earthly things above—
Entire and whole and perfect, the service of my love;
The love that asks no question, the love that stands the test,
That lays upon the altar the dearest and the best;
The love that never falters, the love that pays the price,
The love that makes undaunted the final sacrifice.
- Rabindranath Tagore

Freedom! Liberty! Azaadi! Mukti!
Call it by any name, the taste of independence is the same across cultures, races, languages, nations. It is like the sight of the first bright ray of the sun on a dark, overcast morning. A minion of hope, love, and life. Such is the consciousness of being on one’s own, the knowledge that - one can follow one’s own heart and mind and not depend on the dictum of others who matter not.
Such is freedom for an individual. And such is freedom for a nation. For India, freedom has been a reality that verged more on fancy. To a nation that has time and again been suppressed, ruled and directed by countless others, freedom is indeed a touchstone that could and has changed its destiny. It has not been easy to reach that destiny, though. And the struggle, the sacrifice of an entire nation to seek that destiny makes it all the more special. 15th August, 1947 is a date every Indian knows by heart. A day that is celebrated in the country with as much love and enthusiasm as one celebrates a milestone in one’s own life. Yes, even sixty-five years after.
Today, decades away from the day we claimed our liberty, we salute the freedom fighters who lived, fought, and died for us; we salute the leaders, the heroes, the visionaries who dared to dream of a free India for the generations to come; we salute the nation for sustaining the spirit of hope and courage when all that could be seen were clouds of doubt, confusion and despair. All that we are, and all that we have today, in 2011, we owe to those times and those brave-hearts who suffered, so that we don’t.
On this day, Floralis wishes India a very happy journey down the memory lane. Let us look back and thank those who gave us the right to decide, choose and be. And all those who have let us uphold the sanctity of the freedom. We hope to carry the flag high and take it forward. We hope to make us proud just as they did us. And just like we do, we would love to see our posterity look back at us with pride.
